Murder mystery

I went to California recently to visit a friend of mine at school. I just went for a week, but when I got there I was thrilled. My friend had gotten me tickets to one of those murder mystery dinners. I had always wanted to go, ever since I had learned about them. Well, this friend had known about my interest in them, and had decided to arrange the whole thing as a surprise for my visit.

The murder mystery part that we attended was in Los Angeles. I had never been to LA before, however, it was an amazing city. Being from Arkansas, I had never been to such an awesome place, or quite frankly a real city before. Everyone was really friendly and best yet it was warm. Well, I arrived at LAX about noon and was informed about the murder mystery that we were to attend that evening. My friend whisked me off for a quick bite and some shopping. I guess she really new that I hadn't really brought anything to wear for our night out. I got a really cute outfit, a pants set and some killer shoes. Then we went to her place to shower and change as the dinner was to start at 8:00pm. I was so excited I could hardly wait!

When we arrived, we were ushered into a room, and seated at a table where we were served some Hors D'oeuvres and a drink. Immediately, our host began to speak. Next thing you know there were actors and actresses mixed in with the regular guests. The whole night was such a rip. We were there for at least 4 hours and what fun it was trying to follow all the clues to the right conclusion. Oh yes, in between we did have a great dinner, but I was so rapped up in the mystery that I barely remember it. In any case, my friend and I were not the ones who solve the mystery, but several other people thought they had it all figured out from the beginning.

At nights end, we were really glad that we went. If you ever have a chance to attend a murder mystery party or one of the many murder mystery corporate events that they host, be sure to do it. I know you will be glad you did.
