dubai hotels and apartments

The Middle East is seen for many as a place of war and instability.I have never viewed it as a luxury place to live or even spend much time in.I heard in my international relations class that there was actually a website where they sold Dubai apartments online. I was very shocked because I am pretty unaware that they have technology just like America does.  I forgot that they were modern, so I thought it would be good for be to research on how Dubai and their residents live.

The kid in my class who mentioned the Dubai apartments gave me the website www.dubaifurnishedapartments.com and told me to check it out, to see pictures and even prices.   I was very intrigued and dove right into the website.  I honestly could not tell you how much the Dubai apartments cost per month in American money but I would assume that they were not cheap.  I was amazed at the pictures and how beautiful not only were the apartments but also the Dubai Villa rentals were also amazing.  The Dubai beach hotel was probably my favorite; the view in the picture looked incredible.  The furnisher in these Dubai hotels was also very nice.  My apartment came furnished and it looked nothing like these apartments.  You could tell the money put into these Dubai hotels and apartments.  They offer so many different options as well, for example they even have a Dubai vacation rental which can serve as a vacation home for those who want a place to stay that is their own.  One of the options are the Dubai hotel apartments, by the looks of the room it is a hotel room that looks just like a apartment, and the furnisher in this hotel/apartment room is very modern and fancy.   I am kind of curious as to what type of people rent these apartments and stay in these hotels, I am sure they are very high class people with money to spare.  I am very shocked that I was so unaware of other countries luxuries. The United Arab Emirates is not the place I thought it was. People are not living in dirt houses that lack running water.  They actually have the many of the same things the United States has, the apartments and hotels are just as beautiful and magnificent as anything one can find here. I guess I was wrong in pre-judging other countries without researching.
