Ads online and in the Newspaper

Every time you sign onto the internet a pop up comes on or the article you are reading has an ad on the side of it. Even when I check my online bank statement I come across ads for investing or even one time a few days ago there was an ad for dog food? And the newspaper is full of ads. For grocery stores and the local mall as well as the classified sections and people looking to get rid of their old fridge or car or even their baby (seriously there are adoption ads right next to the ad for 2 for 1 watermelons).

I think the most common ads are ones for auto performance parts or people selling their car, looking to buy it or even just looking for a piece of a car. There are even ads for auto aftermarket parts (whatever that even means). You see people looking for stereos for their car or something called vellano wheels. And it amazes me that they probably find those things ha.

I do though think it is interesting that people have adoption ads in the newspaper. It makes me wonder how that could even be legal (but I'm sure it is when you get lawyers involved and everything). It just seems so sketchy. But I guess with adoption being as hard as it is right now and taking so long, the more you get your name out there, the better off you are. It just seems so cheesy when they have a picture of themselves and talk about how great and loving they are to people they don't even know.

But even though I think it is kind of silly, I can't help myself from clicking on random ads that pop up when I am online or when I open my email and get them (that's probably why I keep getting more and more because I continue to open them and okay them on my computer). And I always look in the Sunday paper at the people who are selling their old fridge or their car parts (like just the steering wheel ha) and even the people who are looking for a baby. And I probably will continue to do so, and who knows, maybe one day I will have a personal ad in there (probably not though) ha.
