FREE POKER IS EASY TO GET HOOKED ON
After talking with this girl Jen online I decided that it was time that we actually met in person. Sometimes this goes well for me, but many times it is much easier to deal with these women online, because many times they don't look like their picture and are nothing in person like they are on the web, this is just what I have noticed from my personal experiences. In any cases, lots of guys tell me that it is good for a hook up if nothing else and that the problem is really that I am looking for more than just a fun evening. So we agreed to meet at a restaurant, and so she told me what she would be wearing and I told her the same and we met up. I like this method best because you can always just pretend to have stood her up if you get there and she is not what you expect. Anyway, when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that she was actually better looking in person than she was on the web. She had long blonde hair and a nice body, and a smile that lit up the room. We were having a nice time so when she offered to go back to her apartment, I thought, why not. I really didn't have any particular expectations, but we were having a good time, so I figured I would just roll with it. When we got back to her place she immediately got on her computer and said she had something to show me. I really was wondering if she had pics on the computer or what she was going to show me, and then she confessed that she loves playing poker online. She told me she is pretty good at it and that sometimes she plays free poker and no deposit poker. She said that she just won a poker bonus last night of $400. She said that she really wins much more than she loses, but she is really hooked on it, so we decided to have some fun and play online for a little while. It only took a few hours before I was completely hooked. Now we both play online everyday, and we are still seeing each other. I just can't believe how easy it was to get hooked, now I have a new girl and a new game.

Stats Class
I remember in stats class in high school we all played the lottery (well our parents did it for us because we were too young to do it on our own) and as a project we had to figure out the odds that one of us would win. We also sat around watching for the national lottery results hoping that one of us actually did win so that we could drop out of that stupid stats class ha. But actually it ended up being really fun, we got to talk a lot in class and play games and even though there was a lot of math involved, it wasn't as hard of a class that I thought it would be.
But we actually did learn a lot about the euro lottery and even what euromilhoes was. In the class we even talked about counting cards in games and betting in places like Vegas. My sister is taking that class now in high school and they got to watch the movie 21 which is really cool. It mainly revolved around betting and sports odds so it was actually interesting to a lot of us. Especially since I love going to the race track and betting on the horses, so having a whole section on that was pretty fun (and even useful ha, I used all of the tips I learned when I went the next time).
In college now as an actual credit you can take a stats class just like the one I took in high school and it counts towards your degree as an elective. But now since everyone taking the class is at least 21 we can go out and gamble and talk about it in class! It is so fun and once a month it involves a trip to the casino about 40 miles away with the schools sponsored money (and by that I mean part of the 30,000 dollars we pay to go to this school ha).
But I really do like that we have the option to take classes like this one. It is nice to be able to take a practical but also fun class that we can get out and also enjoy for actual credit. It is a break from having the same biology classes and chemistry and anatomy classes all day and is also an easy A to help my GPA.

Getting Help outside of school
The university that I go to has an excellent writing center that has great resources and a ton of people that will help you go over you paper with you before you turn it in to correct any errors that you made. A lot of students though prefer not to use it because of the tutoring sessions that are offered through an outside essay writing service.
I heard about it from a friend because she went there for help on an English paper and it is basically a place where you can go and meet with students who have taken that particular course before and got an A in it. They also have had all of the same assignments and teacher that you had so they can help you write a custom essay or a custom research paper using theirs as a reference or guide.
I'm sure the reason so many students prefer this option is because they don't have to do as much work. Because the writing center, although free, is full of adult professionals, librarians, English teachers and grad students who will read what you have already and critique it and give you tips. This outside service costs about 12 dollars a session (which is a lot as a college student sometimes) but they basically help you build your paper from the beginning and make sure that it is nothing like theirs so no one gets in trouble. They don't actually write it for you, but they come very close to doing it for sure.
Are students just taking the easy way out? I'm not really sure actually. Although I have never used this service, I have asked older members of my sorority for help on papers or assignments in classes that they have been in before and have done well. I think in college, it isn't always about cheating. Sometimes when you ask for help it really is just about being efficient. If you can get something done faster and better without doing anything wrong, it just makes is efficient, which is a good quality in both a college student, as well as someone as a potential hire for a company. You want someone who will get the job done, the right way and quickly and someone who can use their resources to their benefit. So while it may be the easy way out, it may also be the smartest.

Playing full tilt poker
Now that we're finally in to the homestretch of the semester we've all got plenty of ways to cope with the stress and the boredom. By this time of the semester I assume that everyone has had sufficient time to find some new and exciting way to keep their mind busy when they want to just pull themselves away from their work for a minute or two. This can be anything from playing sports, video games, taking up a new hobby like knitting. I of course have jumped over these things and gone straight to risking my inheritance and my financial futures just for fun. That's right, I said it, I am a gambler.
I know what you are all thinking; “Oh he's got a problem and he's destroying his future.” Let me start off by first saying that anyone who says they have never gambled in their life is just flat out lying. It may not be intentional but it is true. Each and every decision we make each day is a balancing act between cost and benefits for each possible outcome. This is risk analysis and then actually doing something about that process is the gamble. It is a risk. I am just a part of the population that decides to try and make money by constantly calculating these types of decisions in order to find some strategy and situation for bettering myself. This is what financial brokers do all of the time and we still give our banks money, though this may be changing.
I have simply found my way for coping with the doldrums of the semester is best suited to something risky and adventurous. For me there is nothing more exciting that risking money in a calculated gamble between myself and several other people. Thanks to the marvel of the Internet and my favorite site full tilt poker, I can easily jump online at any hour of the day or night and find as many people as I like to play a game with. Also with full tilt it's not as if I am playing some game that tends to end the same way or play out similarly, it is a game of chance as well as a game of strategy
